Nominated for the 2022 Minister’s Award of Excellence in Child Development.

Mrs. Cynthia completed her Education Assistant certificate at Lakeland college. 

After graduating, she worked in an academic preschool for the last four years. 

She has worked with three–to–five year old children preparing them for their schooling. She is married with a son of her own.

She loves to craft, do home renovations, as well as party planning. She loves to show children that they can do anything they put their mind to—and watch them achieve their goals.

Ms. Amanda had been working in Early Childhood Education for just under a decade. She completed her Level One certification at Red Deer Polytechnic in 2021.

Ms. Amanda's primary teaching experience has been in an academic setting, preparing children from 3 to 5 for kindergarten and beyond.

Outside of preparing children for their school experience, Ms. Amanda is raising two teenage children of her own. She loves to spend quality time with her kiddos. In the summer, that time is spent at the camper! She is also an avid reader and lifelong learner.

Ms. Amanda is passionate about education and creating a positive and loving environment where children can blossom and discover their own lifelong love of learning.
